Facilities Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the overall well-being of the facility.
  • Act as the point of contact for client and vendors.
  • Establish a good working relationship with the stakeholders.
  • Ensure that the appropriate maintenance and service levels are received from the building landlord.
  • Manage staff assigned to the facility (security guards, nurses, receptionist, janitors, maintenance, messenger).
  • Establish an outline and timetable for completion of routine duties carried out daily.
  • Perform daily spot checks and identify non-functioning assets for immediate repair.
  • Raise purchase requests, receive goods/services upon delivery.
  • Collect and review invoices prior to submission to finance department for payment processing.
  • Assist purchasing department in vendor and product sourcing.
  • Supervise facility-related projects.
  • Check compliance to government regulatory requirements and update all engineering records and permits/licenses.
  • Ensure first aid kits are stocked up and any life safety equipment such as AED machines are maintained properly.
  • Actively search for areas for improvement and make recommendations where appropriate.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in Engineering – Others or equivalent.
  • Professional License is not required but is an advantage
  • Able to read and understand complex electrical, mechanical and automation systems
  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems
  • Proficient in using MS Applications and Email platforms
  • Attention to detail but also the ability to see the implications for the bigger picture
  • Team player and has the ability to lead and manage teams and projects
  • High Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High Organisation skills, Time management skills and the ability to handle a complex, varied workload
  • Amenable to work in Makati
  • Can start ASAP
